This year, “06 en scรจne” will go beyond the limits of the Nice Acropolis Convention and Exhibition Centre to occupy key locations in the city of Nice. The MAMAC, which will be exceptionally open at night, especially for its exhibition on the Nice School, will exclusively relight the famous “Wall of Fire” by Klein for the duration of the event.
Jean-Louis Murat, the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, Martine Pujol, Philippe Manลuvre, Francis Lai, Lionel Letizi… More than a hundred artists and personalities will honor the event with their presence.
“06 en scรจne” will offer 3 days of Culture with a multitude of shows and activities that will take place simultaneously in different venues.
The Weekend of Companies
The Nice National Theater, offering 200 invitations for “Richard III” and “King Lear” during the opening night, will open its Michel Simon auditorium for a highly theatrical “Weekend of Companies.” The Voix Public company will present “Alice Will Go to the Woods Lilian Hunting,” Martine Pujol will play the jesters with her latest one-woman show “La Belle รpoque,” the Chemin du Faire company will tell its “Stories of Men,” and the BAL company will offer an exclusive creation, “Tiny History of Theater,” a sort of road-movie about the history of theater for all audiences. Alongside these original creations, masterpieces such as “The Ticket” by Manuel Pratt and the theatrical adaptation of “The Intimate Diary of Marie Bashkirtseff” will be presented. For all audiences, there will be a slam evening; then, the giant puppets of Loรฏc Bettini will delight the younger ones. In total, 3 different children’s pieces each afternoon and an adult piece every evening will be offered.

Inside the Acropolis, the opening night will honor the sublime Ballets de Monte-Carlo, which will present “Altro Canto 2.” Then, throughout the weekend, the Ballet du Capitole de Toulouse, the Alpes-Maritimes Ballet, the Humaine Company, and the public…

visitors who will be able to indulge in capoeira, African dance, sensory gym for seniors, and musical awakening for children during workshops or even salsa, country, tango during initiations.
7th Art, Contemporary Art
There will be movies for all tastes, with dynamic cinema (3D) for children in the afternoon and for adults in the evening through the screening of a rock concert. Those who make movies will also come to meet the public, who can discover and exchange with the Nice director Cyril Gelblat and the director Claire Simon after the screening of their respective films, “Les murs porteurs” and “Les bureaux de Dieu”. Eight short films produced under the “Collectif Huit” program, which brings together 8 filmmakers including Gaspar Nouri and Jan Kounen, present at the screening, will be shown.
