On Thursday, September 9th, the In&Out Queer Film Festival will launch its 13th edition. A call to all cinephiles: this event is an opportunity to rediscover the LGBT community between activism and sexuality through cinematic works.

Activist engagement and exploration of sexualities in all their diversity: these are the themes of this new edition of the In&Out Film Festival from September 9 to 18, 2021, in Nice. This conference is an opportunity to educate and understand LGBT communities.

The curtain rises for the premiere at Le Rialto Cinema with the film “A Good Man” by Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar, which tells the story of the struggle of Benjamin, a trans man, and his partner Aude to have a child.

Vive l’amour, Secret de famille, La Riviรจre, and many more are in the lineup. The program also includes a retrospective of director Catherine Corsini and her latest film “La fracture.”

Additionally, you can discover photographic exhibitions on “Voguing”, a dance of emancipation for LGBT communities. Frank Finance Madureira, a journalist and creator of “La Queer Palm,” which rewards LGBT films awarded at the Cannes Festival, will host a Masterclass.

In the late afternoon, it will be possible to watch or rewatch “powerful films that left the screens too quickly.”

The event is organized by the Nice association “Les Ouvreurs,” which aims to fight against homophobia, particularly in schools.

Le Rialto Cinema, Le Mercury, Cinรฉmathรจque de Nice, Librairie Les Parleuses, La Librairie Vigna, Uni-Vers-Photo, Villa Arson, and the Thรฉรขtre Francis Gag invite you to the Queer Film Festival.

Tickets are sold on-site, and prices vary depending on the cinemas.
