17 km from Nice, in a lush and peaceful setting surrounded by century-old olive trees, this festival, located in the village square closed to traffic for the occasion, has always strived to be warm and friendly. At the beginning, this somewhat crazy project came straight from the minds of a few music-loving villagers with the desire to enliven and animate their village and the Nice hinterland through a musical event.
It is an event that many neighboring towns envy. Today, the festival has gained prestige as it is recognized by the media and the public, who come in increasing numbers each year.
It is experienced by the public as a moment of sharing accessible to the whole family, in complete tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the cities. The admission to the festival has always been the cheapest in the region, free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult.
Throughout the years, Rythm’in Blaise has seen performances from nationally and internationally renowned artists who have built its reputation, such as: Natasha St Pier, Joyce Jonathan, Jil Aigrot, Marcia Maria, Les Choristes, Celtic Legends, Enzo Enzo, El Chato, L’Histoire du Tango, etc.
Other less known but equally talented artists like Lou raubeu capeu, Sashird Lao, Kim Cao, Plume, and many others have been showcased at our festival and continue to pursue remarkable artistic careers.
It was while reviewing previous line-ups that we came up with the idea of offering a Best of the artists who have marked the Festival’s history.
During this 10th anniversary, you will find many talents you have applauded, and I’m sure, like us, you will be very happy to see some of them again… 10 years later!
As is the tradition of the festival, a few discoveries will be presented this year to the festival-goers.
Gil Marsalla, artistic director of the festival: “For our part, we thank all the artists, all the volunteers, the local authorities and private sponsors, as well as the public for allowing us to experience and share these 10 years of musical happiness.”
As Balzac said: “…The musical language is infinite, it contains everything, it can express everything…”

Between stories of poisoners, Maasai warriors, and giant elephants, she offers us a journey into her “dreamlike pop world”.
KIM CAO
An eclectic singer-songwriter with a rare vocal texture, navigates proudly through musical styles and sensitivities. Playing with phrases as with senses, he surprises, dares, and impresses… For him, blending represents the natural consequence of the evolution of music.
GOSPEL RIGHT SPIRIT
The group “GOSPEL RIGHT SPIRIT Singers”, created and voluntarily directed by Sophie GELLER, was born in Nice in April 1998. It consists of amateur choristers of very good level, passionate about singing, particularly Gospel and Negro Spirituals. Quality, pleasure, and sharing are the key words expressing their motivation! They weave intense bonds throughout rehearsals and performances, and with each song, they strengthen these bonds between themselves and the audience.

POUM TCHAK
Change of sound and new interpretations for POUM TCHACK, which, with its album dedicated to Billie Holiday, elevates its performance. From these luminous and inspired heights, the southern sextet delivers as never before. One of the festival’s best discoveries that we insisted on reprogramming for the 10th anniversary—Blues, Rock, no more needs to be added; it’s Roll Over…
NOMAD

It cannot suffice with a few words to walk open-hearted along the path of these five gentle boys, to feel the touching melodies sketch a posh and chic funk-rock, and to savor the ever-renewed pleasure of their luminous stage performances…
Maupity is an unexpected destination with colorful influences, a new musical step where all audiences meet.
MAD JAH POL
The living legend Jimmy Cliff has desired that MAD JAH POL perform as opening acts during his tour in France this summer, notably at his concert on July 15, 2011, in NICE. What else to say! It’s the trending group in the reggae world at present. A discovery from our festival that we are very proud of.
