104th Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide: Never Forget, Never Accept

Latest News

April 24, the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, is an official holiday in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. It is also an occasion for commemorations by the Armenian diaspora around the world.

The Armenian genocide, or more precisely, the genocide of the Armenians, was a genocide carried out from April 1915 to July 1916, or even until 1923, during which two-thirds (estimated: 1.2 million people) of the Armenians living in what is now Turkey perished due to large-scale deportations, famines, and massacres.

An official commemoration ceremony will take place this morning at 11:30 am at the War Memorial, in the presence of civil and military authorities, associations, and representatives of the Armenian community.
