This Thursday, February 12th, a large number of people gathered at the Palais des Expositions for the Employment Forum. On the agenda, more than 150 companies offered nearly 2,000 job openings.
Starting at 9 AM, residents of Nice gathered at the Palais des Expositions with a single goal: to land a job. For this 10th edition of the Employment Forum, the Nice Cรดte d’Azur metropolis set up thematic villages.
Commerce, distribution, catering, and hospitality… In total, 2,000 job offers were proposed in sectors that are hiring. “We are guiding the people of Nice towards jobs that have a future,” explained Christian Estrosi, the city’s Mayor, during his speech at the forum: “We are truly grateful that 150 companies are present at this meeting place.”
Workshops for Success
But the Employment Forum is also an opportunity for job seekers to receive advice from professionals.
Various workshops were organized based on different themes. Participants could learn how to conduct a successful interview, understand the e-commerce sector, and combat gender stereotypes in the workplace.
A beneficial initiative for both companies and job seekers. Last year, 528 employment contracts were concluded during this forum.
