10th French Riviera Country Music Festival

This year, the program places a significant emphasis on country music and dance. American artists such as Texas fiddler John Permenter, the legendary Burrito Deluxe featuring Carton Moddy who entertained at Disney’s Billy Bob’s for many years, and Country Songwriter David Waddell will be present in Cagnes, not to mention the Western Swing with the Dutch group Ranch House Favorites.
For dancers, in addition to the aforementioned artists, the excellent band Chattahoochee and the local Mainstreet will enliven the days also dedicated to dance. For the first time, the festival, presented by DJ Denys, will host the “First National Country Dance and Line Dance Days.” Thus, dancers from all regions of France will be present. In total, there will be 16 hours of dance workshops, 16 hours of meetings, and 18 hours of music, dance, and shows offered to congress participants and the public.
For the first time, the editorial team of the English magazine “Linedancer” will come to France to actively participate in this event, with Betty Drummond, founder and editor of the magazine, and also a dance instructor, Steve Healy, Dance Editor and global expert on Line Dance, and Laurent Saletto, French by origin and deputy editor-in-chief of Linedancer.
The Francophonie will be represented by Guylaine Bourdage, a Quebec choreographer with more than 20 years of experience in dance and teaching.
