The traditional Gala of the Lenval Ladies’ Committee will take place this Friday, November 16th at 7:30 PM at the Palais de la Méditerranée. The event will host numerous personalities from the department, institutions, banks, companies, laboratories, and service providers, not to mention all the individuals who have faithfully supported the association for so many years.
A refined menu crafted by Jacques Chibois and prepared by the Pavillon Caterer, with the participation of the Paul Augier Hotel School and the TUNON International School, where the elegance of the table will compete with the prestige of a royal star-studded raffle… Fine dishes and wines, magicians, a generous evening that will primarily offer:
A monitoring central station for the pediatric medicine service led by Doctor DE RICAUD, worth €90,000.
“We also want to dedicate a significant part of our budget to therapeutic projects, as well as other therapeutic workshop projects and various arrangements to always bring more softness and color to the hospital life of these young patients who are affected by illness or accident,” explains Christiane Scoffie, President of the Lenval Ladies.
The proceeds of the 2011 Gala have, among other things, financed the acquisition of a VDR4-type ventilation device with its monitoring unit, the MONITRON® II – Percussionaire®, (valued at €53,000) delivered on September 6 to Dr. Dupont, Director of the pediatric intensive care unit at Nice CHU-Lenval pediatric hospitals, and recovery monitors intended for the operating block (€37,092).
The 16 prestigious annual Gala editions they organize have thus allowed the Lenval Ladies to collect more than €1,140,000 in donations directly allocated to the well-being of the young patients, either for acquiring equipment or for also carrying out innovative and experimental actions with the various services of the Lenval Foundation. The therapeutic workshops are part of this and their impact is recognized by the medical community as a whole.
