From May 18 to 29, 2010, the first edition of “Spring of Researchers” will take place in the Alpes-Maritimes. Organized across four sites in Cannes and Sophia-Antipolis, this event, entirely free of charge, aims to introduce the general public to the vitality of research in the PACA region by presenting recent discoveries or those linked to current events.
Held in the spring, over a period of two to three weeks, in cultural meeting places like media libraries, libraries, and cultural centers, this initiative offers a program of activities in the form of workshops, demonstrations, or interactive conferences.
This year, with the support of the city of Cannes, the CASA, the CR PACA, and the DRRT, and with the help of Cannes University.
– On May 18 and 21, at the Valbonne Sophia Antipolis Community Media Library, with the participation of ADEME and INSERM
– On May 21 and 22, at the Cannes – Ranguin Media Library, with the participation of INRIA and the I3S laboratory (CNRS/University of Nice Sophia Antipolis)
– On May 25, at the municipal archives services of the City of Cannes – Espace Calmette, with the participation of SKEMA, OFCE Sciences-Po, Institut Universitaire de France
– From May 18 to 29, at the Cannes – Noailles Media Library, with the participation of the Sophia Agrobiotech Institute (INRA PACA/CNRS/University of Nice Sophia Antipolis)
