Latest News

The Nice team composed of Sandrine Filippini, Emma Colada Barros, Audrey Bouchet, Angélique Leal, Laurence Bertrand, and coach Mikael Maunier dominated the first international women’s torball tournament organized by ANICES.

Supported by over 250 spectators, the ANICES girls excelled with their gameplay and technical skills; they remained calm and kept in mind the importance of playing for enjoyment.

Led to the top of the podium by coach Mikaël Maunier, the players capitalized on team cohesion and spirit to successfully navigate all matches of the day without losing a single one:

5 victories against Dortmund: 3-1, Vienna: 3-1, Poitiers: 3-1, Clermont-Ferrand: 4-2, Mol: 2-0, and 3 draws with Paris: 2-2, Graz: 1-1, Frankfurt: 3-3.

The Nice team also had the best defense, conceding only 11 goals.

It was a splendid day of sports, featuring 36 international matches, a wheelchair dance demonstration by Michèle and Patrick Touchot (from the “Accessible for All” association), and a demonstration by the ANICES youth torball team.

During this tournament, students from the Initiative Staps were present to announce the national day of sports and disability, which will take place on April 2, 2015.
