There will be 200 brass band musicians from Nice, Cannes, Vallauris, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and Philadelphia (USA) spreading a joyful festive atmosphere over Nice this Saturday.
Gathered for a Franco-American Brass Band Festival scheduled for this Saturday, March 28th, starting at 2:30 PM, the groups will parade along the Promenade du Paillon and the Quai des États-Unis, then meet at Place Pierre Gautier for a concert, before heading to an American football game at the Arboras stadium.
Organized by the Harmonie-Fanfare La Jeunesse Niçoise, this event will be an opportunity to discover high-caliber brass bands renowned for their expertise, some of which have been ‘boasting’ for nearly a century!

A distinguished guest, the Council Rock North Band from Newton, will be there to accompany the local formations.
An authentic American brass band from Newton in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Council Rock North Band is composed of over 100 musicians, all students. The ensemble has won numerous competitions and awards for the excellence of its visual and musical performances.
