In the momentum of the left’s unification taking place in the Alpes-Maritimes, Patrick MOTTARD, President of the association “Gauche Autrement,” and Ladislas POLSKI, Departmental President of the “Mouvement Rรฉpublicain et Citoyen,” have decided to provide mutual support to their respective groups for the upcoming cantonal elections in the spring of 2011.
Thus, the “Mouvement Rรฉpublicain et Citoyen” will support the candidacies of the outgoing general councillors from “Gauche Autrement” in Nice, Patrick MOTTARD in the 5th canton and Dominique BOY-MOTTARD in the 7th canton.
“Gauche Autrement” will support the candidacy of Lucien PONS for the “Mouvement Rรฉpublicain et Citoyen” (MRC) in the canton of Puget-Thรฉniers, emblematic of a region in the Alpes-Maritimes where left-wing citizens and all republicans are tired of the dominance of a single side.
These mutual supports contribute to the gathering of different left-wing perspectives in the department with the aim of collectively building a strong foundation for the future.
