I want to salute his courage.
While political contacts have been increasing for weeks, just days
before the call of 20 Senators in favor of François Bayrou,
I am advocating to elected officials and public figures in
our Department. Tired of playground-worthy squabbles, our
fellow citizens feel a true need for debates on ideas and
unity to prepare solutions for everyday challenges, rather than
leaders driven solely by career concerns, who are willing to sacrifice
their values and convictions.
I am making this appeal to also create in Alpes-Maritimes a
majority of unity and courage to help France out of
crises. This unity will be built around each considered citizen,
but not treated as a “client”, with leaders who are integral and
courageous: A united Country, nothing can resist it, a united Department,
nothing is impossible for it!
