2015 Regional Elections in PACA: Olivier Bettati and Philippe Vardon on the list with the FN?

Latest News

Is it just a rumor, a hoax, or a prediction? But, there are whispers from the National Front that the independent right-wing municipal and metropolitan councilor Olivier Bettati might be the leading candidate for the departmental list in the regional elections at the end of the year.

A long-standing elected official, close to Jean-François Copé, he left the party after the split with Christian Estrosi, against whom he ran an independent list in the 2014 municipal elections. His score was 12.4% in the second round.

Another name being mentioned for these elections is Philippe Vardon, the identitarian leader of Nissa Rebela. Very discreet lately, someone who certainly does not lack eloquence, he could be another thorn in the side of Christian Estrosi.

Furthermore, four identitarians had already run in the departmental elections, even if personally.

The answers to these questions will be provided this Friday during the National Front’s nomination committee meeting.
