The good news comes from the OECD: global growth is again revised upward, to 4% this year.
And France is no exception: the French GDP is expected to grow strongly by 2.2% in 2018 (+0.4 points compared to the latest forecasts).
This hasn’t been seen in eleven years! In 2019, a slight slowdown of this dynamic is anticipated in France, with a growth of 1.9%. But still…
For once, the French government is showing less optimism than the OECD, as the executive is counting on an increase of 1.7% for these two years.
If the upward revised forecasts are confirmed, this will lead to favorable months for the government with, in the end, job creations by tens of thousands, additional billions of euros in tax revenue, etc!
