Organized by the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of the Alpes-Maritimes in partnership with the departmental council and the departmental directorate of social cohesion, this large free event for sports initiation will take place this Thursday at the Ranguin Sports Plateau (1).
It is intended for children and teenagers aged 4 to 14, and to participate, you simply need to go to the Ranguin Sports Plateau site from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
In Cannes, young people can participate in a multitude of sporting activities: athletics, badminton, baseball/softball, basketball and wheelchair basketball, boxing, football, golf, gymnastics – trampoline, handball, field hockey, judo, road safety course (FFST), pétanque, boules sport, table tennis, volleyball.
The Sport Caravan aims in particular to convey the Olympic values of respect, friendship, and excellence. To this end, workshops are set up at the “Red Card to Violence” stand, along with various games, contests, and activities related to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
