Organized by the departmental Olympic and sports committee of Alpes-Maritimes in partnership with the departmental council and the departmental directorate of social cohesion, this major free sports initiation event will take place this Tuesday at the Palais des sports.
It is intended for children and teenagers aged 4 to 14, and to participate, one simply needs to go to the Palais des sports site from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
In La Trinité, young people will be able to participate in a multitude of sports activities: athletics, badminton, baseball/softball, climbing, soccer, golf, gymnastics – trampoline, handball, field hockey, road safety course (FFST), pétanque, sport boules, tennis, table tennis, archery.
The Sport Caravan aims specifically to convey the Olympic values of respect, friendship, and excellence. To this end, workshops are set up at the “Red Card to Violence” stand, along with various games, competitions, and activities related to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Throughout the event: a scientific presentation on the theme “sport and environment” with the association “les petits débrouillards.”
