Since the first Telethon in 1987, thanks to remarkable popular mobilization, the commitment and loyalty of the public (companies, individuals, or media), everything has truly changed.
Rare diseases have emerged from obscurity and are now recognized as a public health issue. Thanks to accurate diagnosis and appropriate medical care, the quality and life expectancy of patients have significantly improved, and people with disabilities can now aspire to a normal life.

Telethon Est Littoral:
The A.R.P.P.E (Association for the Protection of Heritage and the Environment) offers you:
December 8 at 7:15 PM and 8:30 PM: 2 concerts in the Saint Roch Church.
December 9 from 6 AM to 8 PM around the Jean Giono School Group, on the sidewalks and in public gardens, workshops for children, a petanque game, a Council General’s Car-Podium, and street performances by actors.
In the afternoon, the Regional Boxing Championships will be organized at the C.M.O.S Serge Leyrit.
Associations Space Telethon at Garibaldi
Activities on December 8 from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM and December 9, 2006, from 9 AM to 11:30 PM.
Stands selling Telethon and food products will be set up under the arcades of Place Garibaldi at the entrance of the Association Space.
The amphitheaters and rooms of the Association Space will host concerts, dance, and theater shows during these two days with:
ANPAA Association, Dual Dance, Azur Swing Band, Pylsion and Paille En Queue, Nikaïa Video, the Early Childhood Service of the City of Nice, OPAM, CCAS of the City of Nice, Ségurane College, Tikkie Evolution, Alcantara Company, Press and Health Education Prevention Association, Alekhine Chess Club, Bastos and the Doubles A, the Astrological Meeting, FCPE Ségurane and Masséna, la Semeuse, Urban Civil Protection of the City of Nice, Magica, students from the IUT of Nice, Entrel, International Perspective.
Moreover, this site will serve as the arrival point for pedestrian gatherings organized by OPAM:
December 8, departure at 6 PM from Villefranche to Nice.
December 9, departure at 6 PM from the OPAM headquarters located on Promenade des Anglais to Place Garibaldi.
Telethon Rives du Paillon
Activities on the Church Square from 9 AM to 5 PM, the whole neighborhood comes alive!
Music and dance performances will be held on a stage in the Django Reinhardt hall.
Setting up of game stands, face painting for children, mosaic stands, board games, and raffles, Dojo area with tatamis, penalty shooting stand, and stands selling food products (barbecue and refreshment bar).
Telethon Nice North
Stade des Grangettes, avenue Henri Dunant, on December 9: game stands and food stands, musical entertainment.
Telethon Francis Gag
Francis Gag Theatre, 4 Saint Joseph Street, on December 8 and 9: theatrical performances for 24 hours!
Telethon Yves Rocher
Avenue Jean Médecin, boulevard Victor Hugo, boulevard Dubouchage: itinerant stand selling products in public areas on December 8 and 9.
Telethon of the Saint-Maurice / Parc Chambrun / Borriglione and Vallon des Fleurs initiative committee
On December 9 at Vallon des Fleurs, avenue Henri Dunant, diverse animations: music, singing, selling food products, and Telethon.
Telethon at Ariane
December 9 from 11 AM to 6 PM, Church Square: demonstrations of sports performances and dances will animate the day: Wrestling, Taekwondo, Judo, Jujitsu, Muay Thai, Oriental Dance, Salsa, Capoeira, and Guitar…

Telethon of the CCAS Sports Association of Nice “March of Hope”
On December 9: Departure at 12:30 PM from Place Amélie, Gare Maritime in Villefranche-sur-mer to arrive at Place Pierre Gautier in Nice, in front of the CCAS headquarters, after a 7.6 km route with entertainment and sales of food products and Telethon.
Telethon of Casino Ruhl – 2nd edition of the Louis Nucéra Challenge
Cycling race on home trainers and treadmills, on December 9 from noon to midnight at the Terrace Space of Casino Ruhl.
This year, there’s a musical challenge: many bands (more than 30 pop, rock, variety, jazz bands, …) are invited to perform during these 12 hours with one band every 20 minutes!

On December 9 at 11 AM, Mr. Guy Geles-Ducarme, Deputy Mayor, will represent Mr. Jacques Peyrat, Senator-Mayor of Nice, at Fort du Mont Chauve de Tourette-Levens at the event organized by the National Union of Reserve Officers (UNOR) and the Côte d’Azur Shooting Club.
