24 hours of activist actions for young “marchers”

Latest News

This past weekend, the strong presence of “Jeunes Avec Macron 06” (Young People with Macron 06) did not go unnoticed by the citizens of the French Riviera. Indeed, for 24 hours “non-stop,” the JAM were out in the field.

During this “marathon” they carried out: Distributing leaflets on the benefits of the government’s reforms for the youth (Liberation market in Nice); putting up posters on various public display boards, cleaning the “Beaux Rivages” beach in Nice; meeting with associations from the Alpes-Maritimes, interacting with local LaREM committee leaders; going door-to-door; a citizen picnic; and above all, getting young Europeans to fill out the “YES” (Young Europeans Survey) questionnaire to better understand their expectations, doubts, and wishes for the European Union.

Named #24hDesJAM, this action aimed to remind citizens that the youth movement of President Emmanuel Macron is and will always be by their side in moments of satisfaction as well as doubt. The JAM were able to discuss topics such as gender equality, the increase in fuel prices, the rise in the purchasing power of the French, and above all, Europe.

With the dedication of the activist Mathieu Cavarrot Soler, the reference for “Jeunes Avec Macron” in the Alpes-Maritimes, he explains:

“We are ready to hear everything, every argument, every doubt in order to respond to it in the best way possible. We must make our fellow citizens understand that France is changing and evolving in the right direction, which is our task. We must combat the fake information that extremists try to spread and restore the truth. We are on the ground, and this weekend was formal proof of that. We will remain attentive to every citizen. Today’s youth is the strength of France and Europe tomorrow. We are proud of our government and our country. […] We need a youth that votes in 2019 to defend Europe, not to destroy it.”
