26th edition of the Italian Cinema Days at Espace Magnan

Latest News

From March 21 to April 2, 2011, at the Espace Magnan, the 26th edition of the Italian Cinema Days will take place, a festival focused on emerging Italian cinema, which, as every year, presents a majority of films that you won’t see anywhere else: premieres, unreleased films, quality cinema… not distributed.

cinema-italien.jpg The 2011 Edition offers several meetings with directors and actors, as well as a documentary section offering a perspective on the theme of our relationship with our land, our cultures, our lives… This year, the journey through the work of Pier Paolo Pasolini continues with the famous Trilogy of Life, with concerns and philosophies not so distant from the issues of our time.

A new feature, the creation of the Garibaldi Prize awarded by a jury of professionals and complemented by a Public Prize, to acknowledge Italian unity proclaimed on March 17, 1861, 150 years ago.

A trophy will be created by Serenella Sossi, sculptor.
