28/CINECAFE in CARROS

Latest News

On March 28th at 7 PM at La Passerelle, the Cinécafé invites you to take the time to watch – to better see them! – excerpts from commented films (with montages, freeze frames, etc.).

The goal: both to enjoy and better grasp the meaning of the works through their staging, in relation to their era, etc.

All in a friendly atmosphere: everyone is free to contribute and express their own comments…

On the program:

1- Excerpts from “Coeurs” by Alain Resnais (2006), featuring Sabine Azéma, Isabelle Carré, Laura Morante, Pierre Arditi, André Dussolier, Lambert Wilson: the use of space in relation to the characters’ emotions…

2 – Compared excerpts from “Pour toi j’ai tué” (Criss Cross) by Robert Siodmak (1948), a great classic of film noir, with Burt Lancaster and Yvonne De Carlo, and from “A fleur de peau” (the remake of this film) by Soderbergh, with Peter Gallagher (1994):

Two eras: differences in perspective and aesthetic…

3 – The discovery sequence… if time allows!
