Building on the success of 2010, Mondadori continues its commitment to women by launching the 2nd edition of the Women for Sustainable Development Award. Eight magazines from Mondadori France are participating in this award, which aims to recognize and fund a concrete action developed in France by a woman, through an association or a company. 8 winners for 8 prizes of 10,000 euros.
The Women for Sustainable Development Award comprises 3 areas of action:
Social commitment:
Carrying out solidarity and environmental actions to promote the integration or reintegration of women.
Example: Creating community gardens with residents to enhance the image of neighborhoods.
Environmental protection:
Acting to defend our natural resources.
Example: Constructing photovoltaic installations to promote solar energy.
Sustainable economy:
Developing a concept of a social or environmental product or service.
Example: Recycling PVC tarpaulins to create bags and accessories.
