The world of gaming is setting up in Cannes for the 35th edition of the International Games Festival, the largest gaming event in the world!
Board games will be in the spotlight from February 25 to 27, 2022, at the International Games Festival in Cannes, with the aim of having us discover and try all the latest games. Within the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, 37,000 m2 will be 100% focused on games, with around 5,000 professionals expected (game publishers, authors, distributors…).
Passionate players or simple curious individuals are invited to come and discover new releases, as well as great classics. Many families will be present, like Magali and her husband, who came from Nice with their two children to “have fun discovering new games.” “We are having a great time as a family!” she told us. The interest of the event is mainly to offer the possibility of playing the presented games on-site, with an animator present to explain the rules. It is also possible to meet the creators of the games and interact with them.
All types of games are represented at this festival, so you will surely find something you like, there is something for everyone!
– Traditional and great classic games
– Modern board games
– Video games and virtual reality
– Escape games
– Simulation games
– Collectible card games
– Construction games, creative hobbies, and toys
In addition to discovering games, various activities are scheduled for the Cannes event, such as conferences, signings, exhibitions, and even tournaments (chess, classic board games, or video games).
