44th Edition of the Furniture Fair: “Between Art and Design, a Place, a Fair”

Latest News

From November 5 to 13, 2011, all the new trends in furnishings, decoration, layout, and art will be showcased for decoration enthusiasts! Whether you are part of the public or a professional, everyone will find good reasons to visit the Palais des Expositions in Nice for this 44th edition.

The Nice exhibition year after year positions itself as innovative in terms of trends, both locally and nationally, while adhering to an increasingly selective standard.

Unanimously recognized and praised by the profession for its innovative proposals and its commitment to quality and renewal, it is again this year structured around two major themes linking Design and Art.

Designers are in the spotlight:

By opening its doors and dedicating a space under the mezzanine, over 600 mยฒ in the large Hall, the Salon highlights the excellence and rigor that are the spearheads of the designers present this year.

Since 2008, the Home Dรฉcor Furniture Show, a must-attend event in the Alpes-Maritimes, combines the furniture sector and the environment (sustainable development awareness, sustainable furniture, eco-responsible event). Building on its success, the 2010 edition welcomed 160 exhibitors and 38,000 visitors.

Theme of the space: Sustainable Furniture

The project:

– Animation at the exhibition’s children’s garden: raising awareness of sustainable development with fair-trade games
– Round table for professionals, with a proposed action calendar โ€“ themes to be confirmed
– Environmental diagnosis (carbon footprint, environmental assessment) to determine the environmental impact of the event
– Designing an eco-responsible event to limit the exhibition’s impact.

The Home Dรฉcor Furniture Show: 44TH EDITION WHAT’S NEW?
