To assist the residents of the department, the company Altitude Infra has provided the departmental council with 4G routers. These devices deliver an internet connection via the mobile network transmitted by cell towers. This is essential nowadays to ensure continuity of public services, which largely depend on the internet. It is an element more crucial than ever to assist and support the inhabitants of the valley.

Four strategic locations have been equipped: the town hall of Tende, the departmental house of Roquebillière, the children’s center in Breil sur Roya, and the tourist office of Saint Martin Vésubie. In the coming days, new routers will be installed in the valley communes where the mobile phone antennas are operational.

“The Alpes-Maritimes can count on our solidarity to allow residents to access digital services. I want to warmly commend the unwavering mobilization of my teams, which made it possible to restore more than 90% of our network in less than four days,” states David Elfassy, the president of Altitude Infra, the leading independent telecom infrastructure operator.
