The 4L Trophy™ is a raid reserved for students. This race has a sporting purpose, but also a humanitarian one. For this 15th edition, Guilhem Herbert and Anaïs Cadis are preparing to take their 4L to the southern Moroccan desert.
The 4L Trophy™, what is it? It’s an Adventure Raid reserved for students. On February 15th and 16th, nearly 3,000 participants will set off for 10 days on roads and other tracks to reach the southern Moroccan desert. And all of this in a 4L! In teams of two, these young people will try to win the victory. However, the goal is not to arrive first, but to cover the least kilometers possible! And this Raid is not just sporty: the 4Ls will be loaded with donations (mainly school and sports supplies) that will be distributed in Morocco. This humanitarian aspect is the main commitment of the 4L Trophy™.
The crew 444
Among all these students, there will be Guilhem Herbert. A journalism student at EDJ Nouvelles de Nice, he will participate in his first 4L Trophy™. Accompanied by Anaïs Cadis, they will drive their 4L from Saint-Jean-de-Luz to the south of the Moroccan desert. “This adventure is truly enriching, even before departure. We have to do everything ourselves: find the car, take care of the insurance, the registration, the partners… in short, organize everything.”
Crew looking for partners
Anaïs and Guilhem’s crew 444 haven’t found enough financial partners yet: “Out of a budget of €6,100, we are approximately €2,000 short,” Guilhem explains. The two students are therefore still looking for sponsors, but also for supplies to bring to Morocco. “All donations are welcome; it’s not too late!”
Individuals and companies
“People can help us in several ways: they can make donations, partnerships in kind (school supplies, sports equipment, spare parts for the car, etc.),” Guilhem explains. But financial partnerships are one of the biggest funding needs. In return, companies benefit from a sticker that will be visible on the car throughout the year, but also on the website, T-shirts, flyers, posters, videos… The price of the sticker varies depending on its size and placement.
In any case, both companies and individuals can benefit from tax advantages.
