This forum allowed professionals and company leaders to come together based on their interests and professional communities around thematic conferences and meetings. Over the two days, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) welcomed 1,019 participants this year compared to 950 in 2010.

For 56% of them, these were company executives. The other participants were notably working professionals for 32% (managers and employees) and company creators (5.4%). The edition was also marked by a strong and operational engagement from the various clubs and networks that offered conferences and activities throughout the two days.

For Bernard Kleynhoff, President of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, “Our CCI plays an important role in animating the digital ecosystem of the Alpes Maritimes. Through the ECOBIZ Forum, it is the network of networks: we unite economic players and act as a driving force in the dynamic of professional networks in the Alpes Maritimes.”

Some highlights of this 2011 edition included:

– The first prize for the most involved company within Ecobiz. This year it was Claire PERADOTTO, CEO of the company of the same name and a very active figure in our territory, who received this award.

– The launch of the 43rd community “Club Europe Azur” presided over by Gaston FRANCO, European Deputy, and under the high patronage of Jean LEONETTI, Minister in charge of European Affairs. – The “Speed Business Meeting”: two key moments of meetings between professionals organized by the Business Club 06 and the APPIM. An afternoon dedicated to professionals in the hospitality and catering industry, with 120 participating professionals on “New trends and client expectations” and “How to anticipate and train employees for the jobs of tomorrow.” Fabrice Marchand, Director of Strategy and Product Marketing at Amadeus, notably shared the results of a study on the hospitality industry in 2020.
