From 2 PM to 5 PM: in Aspremont, the General Council informs you on the theme of Sustainable Development with information from CG06: information on the Handisport 06 program, Randoxygène guides, carpooling, selective sorting.
The Signing of the Tree of My Nature… and your commitment to the eco-citizen charter “The Trail, My Nature”: I am, I Share, I Act, I Commit… I sign the Tree of My Nature!”
Start at 5 PM of the 25 km Nature Trail counting for the Nature Challenge
and the Family Hike: 15 km of hiking on the official trail course. Registration with the organizer
7 PM: award ceremony for the Aspremont trail in the garden of the village hall.
A stage of the Nature Trail Challenge 06:
From balconies overlooking the Mediterranean to the volcanic rocks of Estérel, through the Baou of Saint-Jeannet, the midland with the Paillon Valley, the Audibergue Plateau, and the Mentonnais, from the highlands with the Gordolasque and Roya valleys to the snowy slopes of Castérino, this 4th edition of the Nature Trail Challenge 06, organized in partnership with the departmental commission for off-track races (CDCHS), offers sporting courses in exceptional natural sites of our department with a spirit of respect and promotion of this environment.
New in 2011: This year, a new category of events is created, the “Discovery Trail.” 8 dates for this new discipline that will allow, on short distances ranging from 10 to 20 kilometers, to get introduced to Trail running.
