The city of Menton has chosen the location at the Lucien Rhein stadium, which has available space to develop a “foot 5”.
In a few days, soccer enthusiasts will be able to freely enjoy a variant of the discipline traditionally played with 11 players…on a state-of-the-art synthetic grass field.

These mini-stadiums are multiplying all over France.
Popular among young people, “foot 5” is experiencing exponential growth and is considered much more playful and dynamic than its predecessors.

With a surface area of 26 meters long by 15 meters wide, unlike calcetto, here there are no sidelines, no offsides, no timeouts… Priority is given to the game.

The walls along the field are used to bounce the ball and dribble past opponents. The matches are also very short. Each team plays several matches, with playing time around 40 minutes, divided into four to six segments of 7 to 10 minutes each.
