54th Floral Symphony in Haut-de-Cagnes

Latest News

From April 22 to 25, come and discover Haut-de-Cagnes adorned with flowers on the occasion of the “54th Floral Symphony”. During the Easter weekend, the heights overlooking the city will be adorned with a thousand flowers, a lovely way to discover the floral richness of our region.

This floral event is organized by ExpoFleurs and a team of more than 150 volunteers. A signposted route through twelve sites will guide visitors through the medieval village.

Due to the economic crisis, the 2010 edition did not take place. Therefore, the organizers have decided to turn this event into a biennial, with the same goal: to promote and maintain the enhancement of local and regional horticultural production.

Bouquets of flowers will create a visual and olfactory journey around the washhouse, the St. Peter’s Church, the castle, and many other sites… More than fifty horticulturists will be present, offering over forty floral species and nearly 100,000 varieties. The program also includes floral art demonstrations, a presentation on blown glass techniques, musical entertainment, and many other surprises to come.

To conclude these four exceptional days, on Monday, April 25 at 5:30 PM, the traditional flower sale from the exhibition will take place at Grimaldi Square. The proceeds will be entirely donated to the association created for the restoration of the Saint Peter’s Church in Haut-de-Cagnes.
