Christian Estrosi, Deputy, Mayor of Nice, President of Nice Côte d’Azur, will close the proceedings of the second day of these 5th National Meetings “Port Activities & Sustainable Development”, an annual conference bringing together representatives from local authorities, institutional organizations, port management structures, as well as professionals from the private sector.
This will be an opportunity to present the community port policy with the establishment of the “Ports d’Azur” network and brand, a tool for qualitative development serving a global and sustainable approach to yachting, complementing the green policy of the Eco-Valley for the metropolis.
Indeed, Nice Côte d’Azur is responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of eight marinas and is pursuing a proactive port policy particularly in terms of Sustainable Development. The active role of the Urban Community at this conference is fully aligned with this dynamic, as it is a fruitful venue for exchanges and discussions on the environmental management of ports.
