This Festival is based on an original concept whose heart is… Poetry.
From this beating heart, artistic veins branch out, combining writing, painting, dance, singing, theater, cinema, photography, video, sound, and many other art forms, making this festival both a plural and unique event. The mission of Compagnie Une Petite Voix m’a dit, organizer of this Festival for 6 years as part of Printemps des Poètes, is to democratize Poetry, bringing it closer to people by taking it, with an open heart, to places that are part of our everyday lives.
At the heart of this original festival, one can discover different universes: Sound Poetry, musical strolls, enchanting readings, improvised music, slam poetry, film-debate, writing workshops, “Action Theater” training, and eclectic performances.
For a week from March 10 to 17, 2012, and on the theme of “childhood,” artistic activities of all styles will burst forth in the windows of Harmonia Mundi, at Cinema Mercury, at the Nation Brasserie, at the Librairie Privat Sorbonne, at Espace Associations Garibaldi, at the Cave Romagnan…

Friday, March 16 at 8:30 PM: Screening of “The Little Fugitive,” a masterpiece from 1953 at Cinema Mercury, Nice.
Saturday, March 17 from 10 AM to 5 PM: Discovery day of Action Theater TM – the first in France
From March 19 to 25 at the Maison des Associations Saint Roch Nice Est: exhibition of poems “cross-generations,” the fruit of writing workshops
Thursday, March 22 at 8:30 PM at the Antibéa Theater, Antibes: “La Demoiselle Et Caetera” CREATION – Word washing machine written by an indisciplined pen /urban poetry
