As you know, many elected officials regularly respond to numerous interviews by our entire team on various topics such as the mosque, the upcoming municipal elections, or sports in Nice.
All except one, and a significant one, since Jacques Peyrat, the Senator Mayor of the city of Nice, has never responded to the numerous requests from Nice Premiรจre.
Initially irritated by the repeated lack of responses, we therefore sought a rational explanation for this systematic boycott of our media. And, surprisingly, it might not be the city’s first elected official who bears full responsibility.
Indeed, to obtain the coveted opportunity and the privilege to interview Mr. Jacques Peyrat, one must first go through the communication department of the city of Nice. It seems that this is where the problem lies.
Indeed, this department does not particularly appreciate Nice Premiรจre, and even less so part of its editorial team, to the extent of slowing down, or even blocking, each of our requests. What’s worse, it has even been advised to a local print publication to end its collaboration with one of our editors. It is truly unfortunate, not to say regrettable, that a communication service is so uncommunicative in Nice.
In short, you will have to do without the Mayor’s opinion on your favorite web journal, but we still wanted to provide you with the ins and outs of this absence.
We sincerely hope that this situation is not set in stone and that we will be able to soon offer you the responses of the city’s chief magistrate to the questions we will pose to him as well as those you are wondering about.
And speaking of questions, what do you think about the absence of Jacques Peyrat on Nice Premiรจre?
