Nice Première: Stéphane Cros, can you tell us about your company Bugbusters?
Stéphane Cros: Bugbusters was founded in 2002 based on a simple idea: to simplify the family and professional computing life by creating a national brand synonymous with service, proximity, availability, and transparent pricing. Four years later, Bugbusters has become the national leader in local computer troubleshooting and services.
NP: Why did you choose Nice to set up your new agency?
SC: Today, Bugbusters is present in over 40 departments in France. Nice is an important hub for us due to the local potential: a dense population, modern, open to new technologies and a network of small and medium-sized businesses to whom we offer new IT service solutions.
NP: What services does Bugbusters offer?
SC: We cover the entire chain of local IT services: home troubleshooting for individuals and on-site for companies, by appointment or express if necessary, installation of PCs, Livebox, Freebox, and other family computing connectivity issues, but also servers, networks, and multi-site solutions for companies. All “wireless” solutions, internet and messaging as well as “nomadic” solutions, especially for professionals.
We also offer innovative solutions for security, data backup, antivirus solutions, and training/initiations.
Finally, for professionals, we have developed an exclusive Bugbusters local support contract, allowing us to take care of the entire IT management of a company, small and medium-sized businesses, local authorities, or associations.
NP: What is your client base?
SC: 40% are individuals, from ages 7 to 77, to whom we bring all these services at home with pedagogy, rigor, and guaranteed after-sales service.
60% are small and medium-sized businesses in France, which today represents more than 5,000 business leaders who entrust us with their daily IT needs so they can focus on their work.
NP: Bugbusters, the plumbers of computing. Why this slogan?
We had created it even before the Bugbusters brand; it was initially to be recognized ‘easily’; since then, we have updated it to a slogan that represents all the values of the company: “We repair women and men, not just computers.”
NP: What are your plans for the coming months?
SC: To continue our development in France, particularly in Nice and the entire region up to Monaco where we want to offer our know-how to local individuals and businesses with our Niçois manager and his team, which already counts 5 technicians in the department.
