Of course, thereโs the change in format which offers much wider visibility and a better layout for articles. This version also includes the drawing of the week by Lucky Micke, editorials from our psychologist Jean-Luc Vannier, the video of the week, as well as the latest reactions, major features, recent interviews, and NP photo galleries.
The second part of the site hosts a commercial section aimed at businesses and traders from the French Riviera looking to tap into one of the most attractive web audiences on the Cรดte dโAzur. This new section, animated by the SC Consulting team, will offer professional advice, a “tested for you” segment, and virtual shops customizable by the client.
A significant novelty in our menus as well, as hovering your mouse over the thematic menu bars at the top of the site will reveal numerous subcategories designed to ease your navigation and search.
Here, then, is this Version 3 of Nice Premium, which the entire team is pleased to offer you for a third year of accompanying you. We wish you a peaceful and happy yearโa premium year!
A special thank you to Vincent Marty, a former intern at Nice Premium, who is behind all the improvements made to this V3 and who will be in charge of the Nice Premium Webmarketing project in 2008. So, Vincent, what is this V3 about?

Nice Premium: Vincent, tell us about this V3?
Vincent Marty: It’s a long story, the result of many discussions. It was necessary to decide and find the key points that would facilitate reader navigation. One must quickly and easily find the sought-after information. Nice Premium needed to evolve and modernize, so this online newspaper could continue its progression. The readers are loyal, but “Nice and its surroundingsโ allow a higher number of readers to follow us. Version 3 opens up even more to our readers, simplifies navigation, offers even more targeted, quality content and remains free.
But this result is just the tip of the iceberg, as evolving the platform on which Nice Premium operates was necessary. The original site manager, evolving alongside Nice Premium, was initially updated. This update was subtle but provides NP editors with a more reliable and efficient tool to write and share their articles. For readers, the change is minor, but this update is noticeable, for example through the Nice Premium photo gallery. It offers an automatic slideshow of photos contained in the Portfolio. Christophe Wiggers (who founded NP and V2 with you) also gave Nice Premium a new technological boost by proposing a new and more powerful server.
In simple terms, Nice Premium changed its engine, vacuum cleaned, and is getting a new bodywork (laughs).
NP: What are the upcoming projects?
V.M.: There are many, and one of the novelties will be to add a link at the bottom of the page (near the current “Legal Notices”), which will list all ongoing developments and projects. Knowing what’s happening on Nice Premium is as important to us as informing you about life in Nice. You have the right to know us, to understand us.
