Travelers’ Scholarships
Are you at least 18 years old and want to go on a trip?
Do you wish to benefit from a scholarship?
Then, submit your project before next September 30.
Two scholarships will reward the most deserving or the most innovative projects that touch on a particular area, including:
• Cultural travel
• Internship
• Employment
• Discovery expedition
• Scientific or artistic research
• Sports challenge
• Humanitarian.
The stays can take place in any country of the world, lasting from 1 to 12 months.

Volunteer mission in Algiers
As part of the Regional Volunteers Program for Cooperation, a mission to Touiza in Algiers is offered.
The volunteer’s tasks will revolve around 3 axes:
• Energize the “Animation” pole of the association: animations of local actions; thematic meetings; setting up participatory procedures…
• Participate in developing activities: planning, organization, and animation of volunteer workcamps; organization and participation in training courses; communication and promotion of actions…
• Serve as a link between the association based in Marseille and the one located in Algiers.
The conditions to be a volunteer are as follows:
• Be aged over 21 and under 30
• Be single or in a couple without family responsibilities
• Possess skills and human qualities
• Be willing to make a two-year commitment
• Hold a driver’s license
• Be exempt from any medical contraindications.
Air ticketing training
A training on the Amadeus software is organized from September 4 to 15, 2006 in Nice.
On the program:
• Introduction to the Amadeus system
• Coding and decoding
• Availability and booking
• Modifications and cancellations
• Automatic pricing
• Electronic ticket.
Among the registration conditions:
• Have already worked in the tourism sector OR
• Have a BTS Tourism level.
Film your city and win a Prize!
A video contest, titled “Youth Perspectives on the City,” is organized for those aged 12 to 25.
Participants must create a videogram that showcases, around the theme “Youth Perspectives on the City,” a sports, cultural, social experience, daily life of youth, current topics…
The films will compete in two categories, introduced by a keyword:
• “Dream”
• “Understand”
Teams must consist of 5 young people and must be sponsored by an association.
Be aware, the registration deadline is set for September 12, 2006.

Construction technical internships
Technical internships in the fields of ancient building construction and eco-construction are organized on the following themes:
• “Straw Bale and Timber Framing” – from July 24 to 28 in the Jura and from September 25 to 29 in Embrun: construction of straw bale houses combined with specially adapted timber framing
• “Stone Cutting” – from September 11 to 15 in Embrun: discovery of different types of stones and associated cutting techniques
• “Plaster with Multiple Uses” – from September 18 to 22: rediscovery of plaster in construction, its uses in decor and structures.
Multiple activities for successful vacations!
Numerous leisure activities are organized on the hill of Drap (06) during the summer holidays of 2006:
• Educational activities: market gardening culture, educational farm, science and technology activities, themed activities, multimedia…
• Sports galore!: swimming, horse riding, treetop adventure courses, climbing, tennis, handball, archery, roller skating, mountain biking, football…
• Courses: English, piano, violin
