Due to the overwhelming number of inquiries from their members lost in the maze of available social services, these four associations (contact details below) have requested social agencies to come and explain to the general public the steps needed to access all of their entitlements.
The associations observed that very few sick individuals were aware that COTOREP had been replaced by MDPH, the Departmental House for Disabled People, its location, or how to obtain a disability card.
How does one gain recognition as a disabled worker?
What about job retention or re-entry through occupational medicine? What role does the CPAM play in the social support system?
The discussion with the audience will provide answers to the questions from those facing the unknowns of the social system upon receiving their medical diagnosis or their relatives who are unsure of where to turn.
