Educational Support and Mountain Biking
A mountain biking camp combined with school revision is organized from August 12 to 26, 2006, in the land of volcanoes and lakes of Auvergne, in Puy de Dôme.
It is aimed at middle school students who will be divided by level into small groups.
Scheduled activities include:
– Mathematics
– English
– French
Note, the number of spots is limited.
Football Camps at Val d’Allos
Several football camps are organized in August 2006 at Val d’Allos (04), for ages 8 – 17.
Three types of camps are offered:
• Competitive Football: 2 football training sessions of two hours each per day + 1 hour of physical training per day.
• Football + Activities: 1 football training session of two hours per day + a program of mountain-related activities.
• Goalkeeper: 1 specific goalkeeper training session of two hours per day + field player and specific goalkeeper physical training.

“Celebrate Together!
Let’s Invent and Share Supportive New Year’s Eves”
A call for projects is organized until September 29, 2006, under the theme:
“Celebrate Together! Let’s Invent and
Share Supportive New Year’s Eves”.
This call is exclusively for non-profit organizations that carry out actions throughout the year supporting individuals experiencing hardship.
These projects must necessarily involve people experiencing difficulties.

Hip-Hop Short Films
As part of the 2nd International Hip-Hop Short Films Meeting, which will take place in October 2006, a contest is organized until August 31, 2006.
The short films presented must relate to two themes: State of Mind and Original Journey.
The selection criteria are as follows:
• Good level of sound and visual quality
• Presentation of Hip-Hop in its various forms of expression (DJ, Graffiti, Dance, Singing, etc.) and/or in an evolving approach (style fusion)
• Length of the short film: 15 minutes
• Accepted formats: DV or DVD.

Song Contest:
“Other Sounds”!
An international song contest is organized on the theme of “Intercultural Dialogue”.
The songs must be inspired by peace and intercultural dialogue.
Participants, songwriters and composers from the European Union and Southern Mediterranean, can submit up to four songs, in the language of their choice.
The selection criteria include:
• emphasizing the importance of dialogue and tolerance in relations between peoples
• originality and innovation on current issues such as integration, immigration…
• promoting the right to be different…
The duration of the songs must be between 2 to 5 minutes, in high-resolution MP3 format.
Numerous prizes will be awarded, ranging from 600 to 1500 €.
Note, the deadline for submitting songs is set for October 15, 2006.

Scholarships for a Master’s Degree in Australia

Among the enrollment conditions:

Mountain Holidays
for the Summer
This summer, do you wish to enroll your child or children in a Holiday Center?
Your CAF offers stays for children aged 4 to 12 years at Annot (04) during the month of August 2006:
• “The Little Farmers” for ages 4-6: introduction to gardening, visiting animal parks, discovering a traditional farm and its animals, pony rides.
• “Pass’Sport Holidays” for ages 6-9: practicing horse riding and mountain biking, road safety awareness, introduction to tennis.
• “A Paradise of Sensations” for ages 9-12: practicing rafting and mountain biking, introduction to climbing, discovering hiking.

and meet young people from other horizons,
Numerous projects abroad are offered in 2006, for a teenage and adult audience:
• Work on a farm from August 28 to September 15 in Berlin, Germany.
• Maintenance of a forest from August 12 to 26, 2006 in Linburg, Netherlands: pruning, clearing.
• Opening hiking trails from August 22 to September 5, 2006 in Landmanna, Iceland: painting sheds, cleaning hot springs.
• Maintenance work at a 14th Century castle from August 29 to September 12, 2006 in Prague, Czech Republic: clearing, painting…
