International First Aid Meetings in Carros

Latest News

The National Association of First Aid (ANPS) is organizing the first International Meetings in Carros on May 30 and 31 and June 1, 2008. It is a good opportunity to mobilize in order to save lives in our daily lives.

The ANPS, contributing to the development of civil security, includes first-aid workers, doctors, nurses, dog handlers, and divers ready to intervene across the French territory and worldwide.

Every year in France, 5 million people are victims of everyday life accidents, and 10,000 deaths could potentially be saved. Learning basic first aid skills only takes a few hours, yet only 6% of the French population is trained.

It is time to react because this concerns us all!

The ANPS Meetings bring together businesses, local and regional authorities, partners, but also the general public, gathered at conferences around the theme “First Aid, let’s mobilize to save lives.”

During these days, spaces will be dedicated to road safety, domestic hazards, civil risks, associations, etc. But it will also be an opportunity for families to discover the activities of the Citizen Park, a real playful space raising awareness of everyday risks. Finally, a Citizen Rally will be organized to close the event.
