Two 13-year-olds seem to have been missing since yesterday. Samantha (the brunette) and Amandine (the blonde) were last seen yesterday around 5 PM at Cap 3000 (Saint-Laurent du Var) and then near the beach. They then allegedly made a phone call last night at 9 PM from Cagnes sur Mer, specifically from Val Fleuri.
They were reportedly wearing blue jeans, a gray and white t-shirt, white Converse sneakers, and a black jacket for Samantha; and for Amandine, trousers and a white jacket with a black t-shirt.
The news quickly spread across the Azuréen web following a message posted on the OGC Nice forum and a significant mailing was organized by users of the largest local discussion forum on the net.
Contacted by our editorial team, the National Gendarmerie confirms the disappearance but has no further details on the case. The fact that there are two of them might suggest a run-away scenario, but according to the mothers of the two girls, this would be unlikely.
