Digital Photography Honored in Nice

Latest News

The works of 15 participants were presented to the jury chaired by Jean-Pierre Mangiapan. He was chosen because he is already the president of the bicentennial committee of the birth of Garibaldi and because the theme of the 2007 competition is freedom, in homage to the hero being celebrated this year in Nice. The top three prizes will be awarded during a screening evening at the Phoenix Park on June 19, and, if possible, in the presence of their authors. These prizes are not currently being disclosed.

Indeed, it is now up to you to vote for the People’s Choice Award. By visiting www.festimago.com, you will be able to rate the works that you can admire and, furthermore, enjoy a very pleasant moment. The winners selected by the professionals are not announced in order to avoid influencing your choice.

The event is significant, as it is the first international festival of this kind. Digital imaging has become the very foundation of the work of photographers and creatives worldwide. The Festival’s pieces will be displayed in three halls at Phoenix Park, on screens, from June 15 to July 15.

So, let’s vote for art now!

The Jury consisted of Jean-Pierre Mangiapan, Thierry de Massia, Frédéric Alemany, Olivier Bichard, Jean-Marie Minazio, and Jean-Christian Philippart.
