jpg_AfficheFalicon.jpgPupy y Los que son son is a “timba” band. This musical genre born in Cuba in the late 80s, is similar to Cuban salsa. Its leader, Cรฉsar “Pupy” Pedroso is a composer and pianist born in Havana in 1946. He formed the group Pupy y los que son son in 2001. The band enjoys great popular success on the Cuban island. Their album “Que cosas tiene la vida” won the Egrem award for album of the year in 2004. Pupy is currently accompanied in his performances by about fifteen musicians.
Jean et les Truands will open for the Cuban group. This European trio draws strength from its diverse personalities: Jean Didion, Philippe Pasquier, and Laurent Lamotte. As well as from their different styles: from classical to rock including funk, all with a very Latin flavor.

Salsa initiation classes are also organized, taught by professionals. The classes, set up before the musical performance, will aim to teach those who wish to learn the dance required for the occasion: Salsa. Thus, the audience will be able to dance comfortably during the concert to the Latin rhythms of the two groups present.

So if you love Latin music, if you love Cuba and salsa, meet at Place Bellevue in Falicon, Saturday, July 4 at 8 PM. For a great Cuban night!
