The residential parking for the Vieux Nice and Port neighborhoods in a public meeting.

Latest News

Parking is one of the key elements of the city of Nice’s mobility policy. Following the success of the first Marshall test zone implemented last March, Christian Estrosi, Minister in charge of Industry, Mayor of Nice, and President of Nice Cรดte d’Azur, wished to accelerate the extension of “residential parking” to other neighborhoods. Now it’s time for the “Old Nice” area and the Port to benefit from this new measure.

This measure is implemented in the paid parking area delimited to the West and North by the boulevards Jean Jaurรจs, Risso, and rue Barla, to the East by the docks along the port, and to the South by the Rauba Capeu, ร‰tats-Unis docks and the Promenade des Anglais up to the open-air theater.

The goal is to:

– Allow city center residents to park closer to their homes,
– Promote the development of economic activities by improving the turnover of vehicles in shopping streets,
– Reduce the permanent occupation of public space by “long-term” parked cars.
