So tell us Perle, what do you have to offer us for November?
“Dear Internet Users, November is a month full of events but there you go, you have to make a choice, and I hope this choice will satisfy you as much as me.
Speaking of choice, I couldn’t decide between the events happening tonight at the same time (8:30 PM) but not in the same place. So it’s up to you to choose!
โ At the Acropolis in Nice, discover the “Histoires Naturelles” of NOLWENN LEROY. โWith more than a million records sold to date and a tour across France and Canada, Nolwenn Leroy has made herself known in the Francophone world as a talented performer with an exceptional voice and incredible charisma.โ Tonight, I invite you to step into the musical and imaginative world of this 23-year-old artist who has invested with passion and patience, signing half of the texts including “Histoires Naturelles” which gives its name to the album: A touch of pop and modernity for this artist who will certainly become indispensable on the French scene -> A surprising style!
- For those nostalgic for the cult film ” BAGDAD CAFE ” released in 1987, written and directed by Percy Adlon, head to La Palestre in Cannet where a musical awaits you.
โTwenty artists, singers, and dancers accompanied by a six-musician orchestra, perform more than twenty songs composed by Bob Telson.โ
โBagdad Cafรฉโ: โA story at once romantic, realistic, and poetic, an ode to tolerance and cultural mixing. The meeting of two women who have nothing in common, Brenda and Jasmin, masterfully played by the sublime Jevetta Steele – the voice of the film – nominated for the Oscars and Melanie Vaughan, sensitive and endearing.
Goosebumps guaranteed on November 14 and 15 at La Palestre when you hear Jevetta sing โIโm calling youโ just for you!โ - On Friday, November 17, and Saturday, November 18, the Palais Nikaia and La Palestre will vibrate to the rhythms of Irish folklore with โLord of the Danceโ celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. โAfter astonishing the Oscars ceremony audience in 1997, their tours allowed the world to rediscover Celtic music and the history of the Irish people. Led by the talented Michael Flatley notably recognized as the star dancer of the show โRiverdanceโ and now choreographer and director, the immense troupe of the show can today boast of having attracted the attention of nearly 25 million spectators from all over the world.โ This famous Celtic troupe will dazzle you with its choreography, a clever mix of traditional and modern! But be warned, these precision geniuses will leave you breathless and captivated throughout the show!

On Thursday, November 16, at 8 PM, head to room 700 at the Palais Nikaia where the French singer-songwriter DIDIER SUPER will play with his favorite weapons: irony, second degree, and derision in a sarcastic tone. โIn his songs, he targets in turn, the poor, idiots, poodles, Catholicism, little Chinese children who make poor-quality toys without going to school…โ(see Wikipedia). In short, Didier Super is an engaged artist โvoluntarily rejecting any notion of good taste, and political correctness..โ- โItโs better to laugh than to not care, isnโt it?โ In the opening act,
the Nissart group Farniente will warm up the room! -
On Sunday, November 19, at 5 PM at La Palestre in Cannet, I think I will, what am I saying, you will succumb to the charm of the angel-faced and velvety-voiced singer: ROCH VOISINE. โBefore leavingโ, for another workweek, let yourself be enchanted by the songs of this Canadian we all know by heart! He slows our radios with his great single “Ne vient pas”, but you, come see him live on Sunday: a live show just between him and you, pure romance, pure pleasure!
-
Friday, November 24, at 8:30 PM in room 700 at the Palais Nikaia, Iโm diving into rap and HipHop with ZOXEA feat BEAT 2 BOUL. Yo! Enter โInto another worldโ! In the opening act, three groups: Asuivre, A7, and Beebish will give it their all! So Friday, make some noise!
-
SURPRISE!!! On Monday, November 27, at 8:30 PM, Jean-Marie BIGARD arrives at the LA PALESTRE hall to present his brand new show, a month ahead of schedule…
โMY PSY IS BETTERโ. Humor Guaranteed! -
Thursday, November 30, at 8:30 PM, I enter the reggae arena in room 700 with THE GLADIATORS: An exceptional vocal trio originally composed of Albert Griffiths, David Webber, and Errol Grandison. Formed in 1967, this Jamaican reggae group is still active. In 2004, Albert Griffiths handed the reins to his son, Al Griffiths, with the album Father and Sons. And if on the last day of November, we let ourselves drift away to the rhythms of reggae?
That’s it; I’ve told you everything for this month. I close my agenda and see you next month. Oops! I almost forgot, if you too have favorite events, don’t hesitate to share them with us in our agenda. Thank you and have great ‘November evenings’! ยป
