PLANET ART ENERGY is one of the projects from the 4th program of the eden association, aimed at developing the energy awareness of citizens, primarily focusing on children, who are tomorrow’s decision-makers. It utilizes art as a medium to raise awareness among children, teenagers, and young students about energy consciousness, encouraging them to change their behavior regarding energy conservation.
The interventions take place in the form of workshops at educational institutions. These workshops are conducted by the Planet Art Energy team using the educational tools provided in the project (slideshows, educational sheets, creative artistic workshops, and awareness days outside the institution).
The educational tools are designed:
โ by a multidisciplinary team composed of qualified professionals (energy, environment, science and technology, graphics, communication, psychology, pedagogy)
โ and by a group of young ambassadors aged 10 to 15 from the Alpes-Maritimes department (Antibes, Carros, Grasse, St Jeannet, Nice, Villars/var).
The Planet Art Energy project is designed to address a young audience (primary, middle, and high school levels).
The educational tool is adapted for all three levels and can also be tailored to various adult audiences.
As part of the CG060606 project, the targeted audience is middle school students from the Alpes-Maritimes department. Starting January 2007, each middle school (89 public and private institutions under contract) will receive a pedagogical kit enabling teachers to prepare a project (class or institutional) with the Planet Art Energy team.
Link with the class and/or institutional project: Engage adolescents in a motivated setting to think, create, and act within the framework of EEDD.
The project is built with the teacher(s) involved in the EEDD approach starting April of the year preceding the year of intervention. Our approach offers a partnership in logistics and expertise. Workshops are co-facilitated with the teacher, who remains the project leader.
Requesting and funding the Planet Art Energy’s intervention within the educational institution is done through an educational project submitted by the teacher to their principal.
