The “Erotica Dream” erotic expo is coming to Nice for its 2009 edition (interview with Axelle Parker)
6000 m² of exhibition space. Sexy lingerie, accessories, sex toys, DVDs and magazines, bars, restaurants, and libertine clubs. The Erotica Dream expo in Nice, since its first appearance in 2005, has become a pilgrimage site for those who indulge in lust, as well as for the most curious from the French Riviera. Many couples rush there, but also and particularly single women or those with friends. All will be united under one banner. This year’s theme has been refocused on the discovery of the body.
Passing through Lille, Strasbourg, and Douai, the Erotica expo aims to represent the sex market in all its dimensions. A French, even European, scene that will feature porn stars such as Estelle Desanges or the Niçoise Nomi. The Dorcel house will also honor its reputation and be the face of this event, notably presenting Virginie Caprice, their charming official blogger.
A show like embers
As usual, the shows on the grand podium will light up the expo. Dance shows, themed strip teases with a fireworks display of electronic music. Exhibitors will also have to go all out and compete in originality. Painters, sculptors, illustrators, photographers come together to add a truly artistic dimension. Some stands then offer intriguing new items, decorative objects like this year’s glass-blown sex toy.
Continuing its quest to democratize the sex market, Erotica Dream is setting up a studio X, led by the company Ovidie, aimed at discovering, through educational games, the elementary but sometimes unsuspected aspects of sexual practice. A curious initiative so that, in the end, everyone finds their place.
