For once (or the rare times) that a “new” comedian doesn’t feel obliged to be vulgar, to scream or to gesticulate all over the place to put on a show, it is worth highlighting! If moreover, it is so funny and successful that you don’t want it to end, we are faced with a survival question by coming to see Annadrey’s “One Nana Show.” It starts strong with her juggling regarding her stage name and first names as she is not afraid of self-mockery, brilliantly mixing sharp phrases while using her overflowing sensuality. She can do everything on stage, whether it is dancing languidly or energetically, singing (she has a voice that could make some turn green with envy…) and playing with her guitar Harmonie. We find ourselves in front of a “nomad” of humor, who first went on stage to sing to pay for her theater courses before switching three years ago to this new career as a comedian. She was pondering the essential question of continuing her singing career, was about to quit everything, but the urge to make people laugh was too strong.
Song may have lost a beautiful voice, but laughter undoubtedly gained a new goddess, who, alongside the Spanish fairy godmother Trinidad, writes the sketches and song lyrics. Melodies that will stick in your head for quite a while, like “Come into my kitchen…” and a woman we will hear more and more about. If not, which is unlikely, it would be despairing, especially after her sketches on “The Waiting Room”, “Perrault’s Tales”, and “Sex Toys”, among others. She has even invented a new therapy called “Bricology”. To be convinced, head to the Théâtre de la Scène sur Mer (which is not in Var, as many think when mentioned), it’s in Antibes and she’ll be performing there until the 11th in the evening, don’t miss her.
