A Family and Collective Multi-Care Facility with 50 Places
Since last October 13, the family and collective multi-care facility La Madeleine offers, on 600m², 50 places for children aged between 2 and a half months to 4 years. It also allows, once or twice a week, children cared for by the ten municipal childminders working in this sector to be accommodated.
“La Madeleine” is the first municipal facility to open in this neighborhood, which previously only had two institutions managed by associations: the daycare center Marie Clotilde, located at the bottom of the boulevard de La Madeleine, and the Saint-Pierre nursery located at the bottom of the boulevard Grosso (a total of 120 childcare places).
Approximately 2,500 Childcare Places in Nice
The city of Nice currently has 20 early childhood multi-care facilities and 8 family nursery sectors (with 194 childminders). Furthermore, the city has made agreements with the nursery of the hospital l’Archet, Colomars, and 8 associative nurseries. Thus, 2,409 places are currently available in municipal, associative, and private facilities in Nice (1 place allows the care of 3 children per year thanks to the flexibility of days and hours).
