Rugby Nice Côte d’Azur: Christophe Moni takes a step back

Latest News

“You need to be 100% committed and for personal reasons, that’s not the case. Therefore, I prefer to stop my mission here to let the team thrive as best as it can. This is not a departure without return; I will remain close to a club that is truly in good hands and on the right track in every respect.

The team has made strides, Manu Boutet and Nicolas Szezur have done a great job; they will continue with the help of Will Johnson, who will take over with the forwards also assisted by Kevin Yates, who knows a lot about scrummaging.

I am taking a step back, but I am very optimistic today for the senior team and the club in general, especially regarding the youth teams. The machine is set in motion…”

Julien Schramm, club director: “Christophe has brought us tremendously since his arrival in 2007… with his aura, his charisma, his extensive experience in high-level rugby, and especially his high standards, he has given our team a whole new dimension. Even though he is leaving his coaching duties, he will stay close to us, which is a good thing for the club. His future is with Rugby Nice Côte d’Azur, I am sure of it.”
