Thomas SINSOU, who medaled in the World Cup at the beginning of the season and was a finalist in the +100kg category at these European Championships, concluded his competition in second place on the podium with a silver medal.

After defeating Estonian ANGERJARV and Ukrainian BONDARENKO, he lost to Russian DZHANAEV by penalties.

A new European Vice-Champion under 23, he showcases his excellent level in the heavyweight category and is certainly expected to bring pleasant surprises in upcoming national and international competitions.

Julien Ottaviani, who has excelled at the highest level since last season, with a Vice Champion of France title in the 1st Division and several podiums in the World Cup this year, continues to demonstrate his prowess by winning the bronze at these European Championships in the featherweight category of -60kg.

In Turkey, Julien Ottaviani and Thomas Sinsou were among the favorites in this competition, and they did not disappoint, bringing back two of the three boys’ medals. This confirms their position among the best in their respective categories at the European level.

They will join Christophe Besnard, Sofiane Milous, Vincent Boussiron, Romann Wolska, and Nedy Girard in January to compete in the French 1st Division Championships in Montbรฉliard.
