After many months of waiting and a stop in Monaco (see “Monaco Live 2008: Tokio Hotel, David Guetta, Jamiroquai”), the band Tokio Hotel with their new album, Humanoid, is arriving in Nice.
New at this concert is a collaboration with several renowned songwriters and producers. Noteworthy participants include The Matrix (Korn), Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Texas…), and Desmond Child (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, The Rasmus …). Tom and Bill Kaulitz also sign on for the first time as co-producers of certain tracks.
Their first single “Automatisch,” entering at number 2 in sales in France, sums up the group’s success. The musical evolution is clearly present for this return to the spotlight.
Tokio Hotel already has an impressive track record for their young age: in France, several sold-out tours (3 Bercy, dozens of Zénith venues, a concert at Parc des Princes), a multitude of awards across Europe and the United States, boundless notoriety ranging from youth press to Télérama, an ultra-active fan base, and the same hysteria everywhere…
